Liquid oxygen is a liquid state of oxygen at remarkably low temperatures. Liquid oxygen has a boiling point of -183°C and it is a pale blue, highly reactive, cryogenic liquid with strong oxidizing properties. It is widely used in industries such as aerospace, medical,
and manufacturing. Liquid oxygen typically produced by fractional distillation of air. Air is a mixture gases, of which oxygen forms 21% by volume. When air is cooled to cryogenic temperature, Nitrogen and other gases are separated based on boiling point. Afterwards, oxygen is condensed and collected as a liquid. Liquid oxygen exerts important function in fields such as medical, industrial, scientific, and aerospace.
